To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please be mindful when entering and exiting the houseboat. The stairs are narrow and long, so please navigate them carefully. They also vary with the tide. If you have any mobility concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out—we want you to feel comfortable during your stay!
🏝 The Perry Marina
At The Perry Marina, indulge in resort living with access to three onsite restaurants, two pools, a gym, poolside bars, and the unparalleled experience of being at the largest marina in the Keys.
There is a shuttle service out of The Perry Hotel that is currently offered from 9am – 11pm. Hours subject to change at any time. Departs the hotel on the hour for Old Town and picks up at A&B Marina on the ½ hour. Please see the Front desk for details, and most current schedule.
You may not want to leave the resort… but if you do, Stock Island is just a few minutes drive away from the vibrant Key West where many adventures are awaiting. The marina/hotel provides shuttles to Duval Street that run every 30 minutes, ensuring you make the most of both worlds.

⚠ Other things to note
Boat living is not for everyone and we want everyone to have a great experience. Climbing aboard may be difficult for those with hip, knee, or other mobility issues. There are stairs to access the boat and within the boat. You may have to make a longer than usual step to access the boat. Use handrails with caution.
Please be aware you will need some agility to get on and off of the boat, especially during low tide. There is a long step from the marina dock to the boat.
Think of this experience as a unique glamping experience, not a luxury hotel stay! If you keep this mentality, you will not be disappointed!
If you are sensitive to the smell of sea water, an overnight stay on a boat may not be for you.
Be aware that hot water is very limited and showers on the boat will not be glamorous; for this reason, we strongly encourage use of the shower house. There is a shower house located on the same row.
The toilet onboard is emptied weekly. We encourage minimal toilet paper usage and going number two at the marina, if possible.
The boat will remain stationary for your stay. If you are interested in a chartered experience, just let us know and we will help coordinate that with a licensed captain.
Key West is home to an array of wildlife. This includes feral chickens, birds, marine life, and sea bugs (that resemble roaches). You’ll often see them on the sea walls and patios, and the occasional bug may venture into your boat. We pretreat for them, but they can’t be completely avoided.
The Perry offers great shower facilities that are a short walk from the boat. We will provide you with the key code to access these amenities.
